The Mask

Today I had a mask of my face made at the hospital in preparation for the radiotherapy. I made my mum take photos because how could I not?! What a very strange experience it was, not unpleasant, just weird. The point is to keep my head bolted in the same position every time I have the radiotherapy but this means my head is literally locked down and the word claustrophobic doesn't even cover it.

This morning I got up early and went for an hours walk in the rain. I really enjoyed it, had my music for company and it made me feel alive, although I did trip up the curb like a muppet! Luckily no one saw!
